Palermo's Jardín Japonés is a beautiful Japanese garden located a stone's throw from the rest of Palermo's parks. It has koi ponds and peaceful paths but it is a bit small for a Japanese garden.

There is a Japanese restaurant and cultural center with events on property. If interested, make a bigger event out of it by eating or checking if there are any events going on.
Visit in October to see the cherry blossoms.
