Collective Bakery is one of our favorite bakeries in Zurich. Their croissants were the winner in our Zürich croissant taste test. Almost as good as Parisian croissants, buttery, flaky, flavorful. Always a treat.

They also offer a small selection of sweet and savory pastries. On the weekends, they often have a special pastry, like almond croissant or lemon cheesecake cruffin, that sells out quickly.

We also really like their coffee, excellent accompaniment to any of their pastries. I'll often order the spicy latte with an espresso shot. It's a popular spot for brunch, but no reservations so there can be quite a wait.

Their sandwiches are good too, , often on their delicious focaccia - a nice option to takeway for a picnic later.

This location is very far from the city center, so we don't often make the trek out there. Happily, they also have a takeaway window near the Wiedikon train station at Freyastrasse 3, 8004 Zürich.
