The Similan Islands are an archipelago in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Phang Nga Province in southern Thailand. It was established as Mu Ko Similan National Park in 1982, and is home to stunning natural wonders such as coral reefs, rock formations, and diverse species of plants and animals. Visitors can expect to experience powdery white sand beaches, clear blue waters, and panoramic ocean views while hiking and swimming through the islands' tropical paradise. Boats depart daily from October to May, taking guests on a mesmerizing three-hour journey each way, or a 70-minute speedboat ride. The park's visitor numbers have been capped at 3,850 per day to slow environmental destruction, so don't miss out on your chance to explore this incredible piece of nature.
