I'm an American who has been living in Copenhagen for more than 6 years, and I absolutely love this city. I first came here as a college student studying abroad, and then on a backpacking trip. I finally moved here when I was 25, and had a child here 3 years later. I've experienced Copenhagen at so many life stages, and I can confidently say it has something for everyone! No matter what you're into (food, design, history...) or who you're traveling with (Small kids? Best friends? Romantic partner?) I want to help you make the most of your visit to Copenhagen. I’m so happy that it includes ideas & information for different times of year as I’m traveling in December and a lot of the information I had previously found was geared towards summer travel. I studied abroad in Copenhagen and absolutely fell in love with the city, and then a couple years later came back on a backpacking trip and fell in love with a Dane (who is now my husband). I moved here at age 25, married the Dane, and now we have a 3-year-old son together and a baby on the way.
