Strøget is one of the longest pedestrian streets in Europe, located in central Copenhagen. It stretches from Kongens Nytorv to Rådhuspladsen. It's known for its luxury shopping (like Hermés, Louis Vuitton, and the department store Illum) but there are also plenty of "high street" and more affordable stores to browse, as well. Not to mention tons of restaurants and cafes. Definitely venture onto the side streets to explore those, too -- Strøget can get very crowded, but the side streets are super charming.
