The Round Tower in Copenhagen is a 17th-century tower and observatory with a beautiful view of the city from the top. Built by King Christian IV, it was used for astronomical research and still serves amateur astronomers today. If you want to go to a viewpoint with kids, this is a good one since there are very few stairs (only at the top), plenty of spots to stop and rest, and a museum/cafe/bathrooms partway up.
