Elgin Cathedral is a historic ruin that dates back to the 13th century. It was originally established in 1224 and dedicated to the Holy Trinity. Over the years, the cathedral underwent various expansions and reconstructions, but it eventually fell into disrepair after the Scottish Reformation in 1560. Today, the cathedral stands as a beautiful yet haunting reminder of its former glory, with parts of its walls still intact and tombs of bishops and knights scattered throughout.

It's a fascinating place to explore.
