Secluded black sand beach on Skye

Beach

Message from Tom & Laura

Unlike Coral Beach and Talisker Beach, Varkasaig Beach is a bit more of a hidden gem on the Isle of Skye, making it a great spot to relax and soak up some sun, away from the crowds. Parking is at the farm at the end of the road at Corbost and then the path to the beach is easy to follow for about 20 minutes until you reach the beach.

With breathtaking views of the surrounding cliffs and mountains, those in the mood for a longer hike can also head on to visit Macleod's Maidens (a series of sea stacks).
