The Royal Deeside Railway in Banchory, Scotland, is a charming heritage railway that takes passengers on a nostalgic journey through the picturesque countryside. Originally part of the Deeside Railway, this line was used by royalty and closed in the 1960s. It now operates a passenger service from Milton of Crathes to Birkenbaud Crossing, with plans to extend to Riverside Halt and eventually to Banchory station. With steam and diesel locomotives, this railway offers a step-back-time experience for visitors through the beautiful Scottish landscape.
