Message from Tom & Laura

Surrounded by steep cliffs on three sides, Stirling Castle has played an integral role throughout the Wars of Scottish Independence and was the site of many royal coronations, including that of Mary Queen of Scots.

The immense size and vast array of buildings provide a captivating exploration into history; The Great Hall, Chapel Royal, and Royal Stirling Heads each offer a unique insight into times past. Stirling is also home to exciting events such as jousts and reenactments, and its grounds are home to several stunning gardens where you can spend a tranquil afternoon.
