The Isle of May is a small island located in the Firth of Forth in Scotland. It's about 1.5 kilometers long and 0.5 kilometers wide, and it's owned and managed by NatureScot as a national nature reserve.

For fans of puffins, though, this might just be the closest place to Edinburgh to see them. Boat tours leave from North Berwick at the Scottish Seabird Centre and you can see them from May to September before they head back out to sea.
