The National Wallace Monument is an iconic 67-meter tower situated in Stirling, Scotland. This monument honors Sir William Wallace, a 13th- and 14th-century Scottish hero and celebrates the resurgence of Scottish national identity during the 19th century.

You can admire the monument from many spots around the city, but you can also visit it via a beautiful walk up through the forest that surrounds it. Set aside a good amount of time to do this though.
