Message from Tom & Laura

The Ard Neackie Lime Kilns, located on the remote Heilam promontory in Scotland, were built around 1870 and remind visitors of a time in history when people really relied on the sea for trade and resources.

We love the view down from the top of hill as the part of land itself that the kilns are on feels like something from Thunderbirds (if anyone remembers that show!). It's easy to pull in here and get a photo.
