Jökulsárlón is one of those stop-you-in-your-tracks places. It’s this massive glacier lagoon in southeast Iceland, filled with these huge chunks of ice just casually floating around. 🧊❄️ The icebergs are this unreal mix of white, blue, and even black from volcanic ash – like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.
You can take a boat ride through the lagoon if you want to get up close to the icebergs (and trust me, it’s worth it). And if you walk down to Diamond Beach right next to it, you’ll see those ice chunks washed up on the black sand. It’s gorgeous and kinda surreal.
Go at sunset if you can – it's magic. ✨
