Golden Bay / Mohua, located in New Zealand's Tasman District, is a picturesque bay near the northern tip of the South Island. With its stunning beaches, relaxed lifestyle, and friendly atmosphere, it's a popular tourist destination known for its good weather. The bay has a rich history, from being a resting spot for migrating whales to the discovery of gold in the 1850s, which led to its name change to Golden Bay. Today, it remains a charming area with towns like Tākaka and Collingwood along its coast, offering a mix of natural beauty and local culture for visitors to enjoy.
