Message from Adriana Neptuna

The Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is a vast protected area in southern Utah, established in 1996 by President Bill Clinton. Covering over 1.8 million acres of remote and rugged terrain, it showcases stunning geological features like slot canyons and towering plateaus. Home to ancient dinosaur fossils and rich human history, the monument offers opportunities for hiking, backpacking, and exploring unique landscapes. Despite facing controversies and size reductions, the monument was restored to its original boundaries in 2021, preserving its natural beauty and cultural significance for future generations to enjoy.
