While driving up the Limestone Coast towards Adelaide, I decided to stop by Coorong National Park. Located about 200 km southeast of Adelaide, the park offers a range of outdoor activities like bird watching, fishing, and camping. However, if I'm being honest, the views are pretty underwhelming compared to some other spots. I didn’t get out to explore the park in depth; instead, I drove the scenic road that runs past the wetlands. It’s more of a practical stop to stretch your legs, have some lunch, and break up a long drive rather than a destination that will leave you in awe. The dirt road is a bit corrugated but perfectly manageable with a 2WD, making it a decent pitstop on a long journey.
