This place has something magical. The name Triopetra (meaning Three Rocks) comes from the three large rock formations emerging from the sea.
Located about 50 km south of Rethymno, it is divided into two beaches: Mikri Triopetra (Small Triopetra) and Megali Triopetra (Big Triopetra). The area is perfect for relaxation, swimming, and enjoying breathtaking sunsets. The beach is semi-organised with sunbeds and umbrellas. Tucked away from busy tourist spots, the beach rarely gets crowded even in peakseason. Possible to climb on the rocks on this long stretch beach. Few tavernas availble on site. Parking is free at the beach.
