Blanca Lake is an exciting and challenging adventure located in Washington's pristine Henry M. Jackson Wilderness Area in the Cascade Mountains. The lake is a stunning turquoise green, fed by the silt-filled meltwater of the Columbia Glacier nearby. It is accessible only by foot, along the Blanca Lake Trail that begins at 1,900ft. Hikers must climb 2,700ft over 3mi before reaching the beautiful top of a ridge. From there, the trail continues until reaching Virgin Lake at 4,600ft, then descending 600ft to reach Blanca Lake.
