St Abb's Head Lighthouse is an iconic landmark situated on the rugged cliffs of St Abb's Head in Berwickshire, Scotland. It can be reached by a semi-long walk (two hours) from the town of St Abb's that's really enjoyable and well worth doing to enjoy views back to the harbour town as well.
Some history:
Built by the experienced Stevenson brothers and completed in 1862 this beautiful masonry building stands tall and white, its black lantern at the top shining a bright beacon every 10 seconds for ships at sea.
The lighthouse and its grounds provide incredible views of the surrounding landscape and wildlife, making it an attractive spot for both tourists and photographers.
