The Park and Palace of Monserrate offers visitors a luxurious retreat in the hills of Sintra. Built by British industrialist Francis Cook, this site holds a masterpiece of Romanticism with its exuberant gardens and unique architecture. Visitors may purchase tickets to explore both the parks and palace. The park is open from 9:00am-7:00pm with the last ticket purchased at 5:30pm and the last admission at 6:00pm. For the palace, the hours are extended until 6:00pm with the last ticket purchased at 5:00pm and the last admission at 5:30pm.
