Spirit Island in Jasper National Park is a stunning and sacred spot nestled in the Canadian Rockies. Accessible only by boat during the summer months, this tied island holds great spiritual significance for the Stoney Nakoda First Nation. With its breathtaking mountain backdrop and azure waters, Spirit Island is a must-see destination for nature lovers and photographers alike. Just remember, you can't walk on the island itself, but the views from the water are absolutely worth it!
You can also rent a kayak or canoe at the Boathouse and paddle there. It takes about half a day to get there and you can either camp or paddle back which will be a long day on the water. Nevertheless its beautiful.
