I'm sure you've heard of flying your lanterns, this here is where you can do just that! Shifen Old Street is a super popular tourist spot in Taiwan where people go to release sky lanterns and make wishes. It's this tiny village on the Pingxi Railway Line, and every day you'll see loads of foreign tourists flocking there to write their wishes on lanterns and send them up into the sky from the train tracks.
The street itself is pretty short, only about 300 meters long, but it's packed with souvenir shops, lantern stores, and little restaurants. And if you're up for it, you can take a walk to Shifen Waterfall nearby, which is totally worth it. Overall, it's a fun and lively place, but be prepared for crowds!

⚠️How to get there?⚠️
You can reach it by taking the TRA from your nearest station to Ruifang Station and then changing to another train (can only use this line to reach the old street) to reach Shifen Station and you've arrived at Shifen Old Street.
