It is a popular palace to see a free Taipei city view from the top. By the time you arrive, it should be near sunset time. If you’re coming from Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall then you can take the Youbike or take the bus to arrive at Xiangshan station. This trail is easily accessible so don’t expect to be the only one there!

Sometimes it might get crowded and you need to wait in line to take turns taking pictures. Viewing sunsets here is a must thing to do as you will get an amazing view of the sun with Taipei City alongside it. While it’s quite a steep trek to the viewpoints, the sights along the way will be worth it.
