The Glenfinnan Viaduct is a spectacular concrete railway bridge located in the West Highlands of Scotland at the top of Loch Shiel, overlooking the beautiful waters and the Glenfinnan Monument. Measuring 416 yards long and 30 metres high, this structure was built between 1897 and 1901 by an engineering firm known as Simpson & Wilson. It is one of Scotland's longest bridges and a must-see destination for any traveller. In addition to its beauty, the viaduct is well-known for being featured in several movies such as Harry Potter and The Crown, and has also been immortalized on the Bank of Scotland £10 note. Travelers can experience first-hand the breathtaking views that this iconic bridge offers by taking a ride on the 'Jacobite' steam train which crosses over it every summer.
