📍La Playa de las Catedrales
⚠️ Two super tips you can't forget when visiting:
1. Check the tide schedules. During low tide, you can visit the arches and other corners of the beach, but during high tide, you won't be able to access many of the best spots to see. You can find tide schedule information online (2 hours before or after low tide = OK).
2. During high season (July to September and Easter), you must request entry at this link: https://ascatedrais.xunta.gal/monatr/inicio?lang=es (You can't even imagine the huge number of people who couldn't enter because they didn't know they had to reserve entry online!!).
📍LOCATION:
Located in the municipality of Ribadeo, on the coast of the province of Lugo, Spain, on the Cantabrian Sea. It's about ten kilometers west of the town of Ribadeo (Parking Coordinates: 43.554182902169764, -7.157187276985233).
🕢HOURS: Open all day.
🎟️ ENTRANCE: Completely free, but in high season, you have to reserve at the link provided above.
⚠️Important: We recommend going early or at sunset to avoid crowds, as the parking lot, although large, fills up quickly, and the path gets crowded. Also, in high season, it's essential to reserve from the website; otherwise, you won't be able to access the parking lot and do the route.
🗺️ROUTE: You can walk it in an hour, all flat.
👩👩👦👦 The route is perfect for families with children; they will love walking through this beach.
