The Solheimasandur Plane Wreck is an epic sight on the black beach in South Iceland. Back in 1973, a United States Navy DC plane crashed there after running out of fuel. Luckily, everyone survived, but the remains of the plane are still there, making it look like something out of a science fiction movie. It's a photographer's dream and a surreal experience to explore the wreckage. Just be aware that driving to the site is now forbidden, so you'll have to hike for about an hour from the main road. But trust me, it's totally worth it for this unique adventure!
