Røst is an archipelago of over 350 islands off the coast of Northern Norway. This remote area is known for its large number of seabirds, with estimated one million living here – making it a paradise for birdwatchers! People who visit Røst can enjoy fun activities such as exploring nature at the nearby nature reserve, taking sightseeing tours, or trying out traditional Norwegian food in the local cafes. The fishing industry also plays an important role here, and there is no better time to experience this than during Arctic cod season in the winter. All in all, it's a great place for an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Another reason to go to Røst: If you take the boat from Bodo to Rost and then from Rost to Moskenes it is free. The direct boat from Bodo to Moskenes cost around €150 to €200.
