🇬🇧 In Lanzarote they grow wine in volcanic sand in strange basins surrounded by lava rocks to protect the plant from the wind.

The typical wine of Lanzarote is Malvasia and if you want to try it I suggest you go to El Grifo which is the oldest winery on the island. You can go directly to the tasting area or take a tour of the museum which includes a tasting at the end of the visit.
