The Museo della Specola, located in Bologna, Italy, is a fascinating astronomical museum housed in the historic tower of Palazzo Poggi. Visitors can explore ancient instruments used by astronomers, like armillary spheres and wooden telescopes, while enjoying panoramic views from the tower terrace. However, be prepared for a workout as the climb involves 272 steps! Due to renovation work, the museum and tower are currently closed but will reopen in 2024 with revamped exhibits dedicated to astronomer Guido Horn D'Arturo. So, stargazers, mark your calendars for an out-of-this-world experience!
