At the farm you can book several tours. For beginners as well as experienced people. And if you book a tour, remember that they also have some houses for rent on the property!
I have done the Under the Volcano tour. Which is a 4,5 hour tour along the river with amazing views over two volcanoes: Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull. You ride through an amazingly diverse landscape, cross a river, see a herd of free horses and just enjoy the beauty of it all. It is the perfect ride if you have experience, but don't want to rush your way through the landscape. I really liked this tour.
Going for a ride on an Icelandic horse is an unforgettable experience. Icelandic horses are a lot smaller than regular horses, but they are very strong and have a few extra "gaits". So beside walk, trot and gallop, most of them can also do tölt and some even pace.
The tölt is an extremely smooth gait and quite easy to ride for beginners and experienced people.
Just remember that Icelandic horses are a lot smaller than other horses, so very often there is a weight limit of 100kg / 220lbs.
