The Kuza Cave Culture Centre in Zanzibar is a hidden gem with something for everyone. Visitors can explore the ancient limestone jungle cave with crystal clear turquoise water, perfect for swimming and relaxing. Local guides offer drumming and dancing lessons, Swahili cooking classes, and archaeological tours of the area. Guests can meet local musicians, artists, and writers during live musical performances or visit the Kibigija Nursery School to learn more about Jambiani Education Projects. A package deal of cave visit, lunch and cooking lesson is also available. The lush surroundings make for an oasis amid the buzzing atmosphere and provide a peaceful sanctuary for native wildlife like red colobus monkeys, butterflies, and birds.
