Nelson Mandela Boulevard, formerly known as Jordan Street in Tehran, is a bustling and affluent district in northern Tehran. It's like the Kensington of London, with a mix of residential and commercial spaces housing politicians, diplomats, expatriates, and artists. Despite its name change, locals still refer to it as Jordan due to its wealthy inhabitants. The boulevard is lined with chic cafes, boutiques, and restaurants, making it a hotspot for the fashionable crowd to see and be seen. Traffic jams are common even at 2:00 am during the summer, adding to the lively atmosphere of this popular street.
