Jeppes Reef is a small rural village in Mpumalanga, South Africa, located near the border with Eswatini. It's about 25 kilometers south-southeast of Kaapmuiden and sits just south of Schoemansdal. The village is home to around 12,589 people, mostly SiSwati speakers. There's a border control post operating between South Africa and Eswatini (Swaziland) making it a busy spot for travelers crossing between the two countries. Overall, Jeppes Reef is a quaint little place with a unique cross-border vibe.
