Honcho Street in Fujikawaguchiko is famous for its stunning view of Mount Fuji. It’s absolutely postcard-perfect when the skies are clear.
When we visited, though, Fuji disappeared behind clouds in a matter of minutes!
That’s why I’d recommend staying at least one night if you can.
It gives you a much better chance of catching a glimpse of Japan’s iconic mountain, especially if the weather doesn’t cooperate during the day.
The street itself is super cute, with charming shops and local cafés to explore while you wait for Fuji to make its grand appearance.
It’s a must for any Fuji lover!
