Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa is one of Japan’s most beautiful gardens.

And I'm here to tell you it is meticulously maintained!.

Just across the road from Kanazawa Castle, it’s super convenient to explore both in one go.

Tickets to the gardens cost ¥320 for adults, and trust me, it’s worth every yen.

This garden is breathtaking year-round, and autumn is magical with all the vibrant foliage.

We visited in winter and admired the iconic Yukitsuri - ropes supporting tree branches to protect them from heavy snow, a sight unique to Kanazawa.

Don’t miss Kasumigaike Pond, the iconic stone lantern, and Seisonkaku Villa.
