Lovers Falls is a hidden waterfall only accessible by boat or kayak from the nearby Corrina on the banks of the Pieman River in Tasmania's wild west. This is such a tranquil part of the state and one well worth exploring.
To get to the falls you will need to hire a kayak or book a guided boat cruise from the Corrina Wilderness Village (we booked our kayak in advance online).
If you're kayaking it's a 10km return journey - so be prepared for an arm work out (or have a partner that is - thank you, Harry).
Once you arrive you'll see the staircase to the falls is incredible for photos, so take a few snaps before heading to the falls along a fern fringed boardwalk. As we visited in summer the falls were just a trickle but it was still an incredible experience!
If you're up for it - a small detour up the Savage River will take you to the shipwreck of SS Croyden (full disclosure our kayak hire time was running low so we didn't do this!)
