Message from Hello Emilie

The Brighton Bathing Boxes are a collection of 93 colorful beach huts on Dendy Street Beach in Brighton, Australia. Built in the 1860s to protect bather's modesty, these quirky huts are now a popular tourist attraction. Each hut is worth at least $300,000 and features Victorian-style architecture with owners free to paint them in a variety of bright colors. Despite facing erosion threats, efforts have been made to preserve these iconic structures, which hold historical significance in the area.
