Killarney National Park, situated in the southwest of Ireland near the island's most westerly point, is an outdoor adventurer's paradise. With over 102.89 km2 (25,425 acres) of diverse natural ecosystems, from lakes to woodlands and mountain peaks to bogs, outdoor enthusiasts have access to a multitude of recreational opportunities. At Killarney National Park, visitors can explore ancient archaeological sites such as the Inisfallen Abbey and Ross Castle, which date back to the 7th century and 15th century respectively. The park also supports a herd of red deer, native forest species, and hundreds of bird and fish species. Furthermore, its variety of altitudes contribute to an oceanic climate brimming with light showery rain throughout the year.

keep an eye out for foxgloves in June, along with deer which freely roam around.
