The Giardini Majorelle is a beautiful botanical garden and artist’s landscape garden set in Marrakech, Morocco. The park was created by the French Orientalist artist Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years starting in 1923, and features a Cubist villa designed by the French architect Paul Sinoir in the 1930s. Now owned by the Foundation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent, this two-acre park holds many attractions and an important selection of cacti and sculptures. With rare Islamic art & North African textiles as well as cables and jewelry kept in Jacques’s old studio workshop, there is something to impress everyone here. Visitors will also appreciate the example of Majorelle Blue found on the house in the garden. After being neglected for decades, it now attracts more than 700,000 visitors annually, making Giardini Majorelle a must-see destination if you're ever in Marrakech!
