The Antornosee is a beautiful, serene lake nestled in the Dolomites, and it’s a great spot to visit for both nature lovers and photographers alike.
Access and Scenic Walk
You can drive directly up to the lake, making it very accessible.
There’s a lovely trail around the lake, which takes about 30 minutes to walk. It’s a peaceful stroll with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and the lake itself.
Shuttle Service to the 3 Zinnen
Many visitors also use Antornosee as a starting point for a trip to the 3 Zinnen. Due to the expensive toll road to the 3 Zinnen parking lot, a shuttle bus operates from here, offering a more affordable way to visit this iconic location.
Alternatively, you can also start your hike to the 3 Zinnen directly from here.
The Perfect Photo Spot
One of the most iconic features of the Antornosee is a small wooden bridge that crosses the lake. This is perfect for photos, as it offers an incredible view of the mountains reflected in the water.
Whether you’re a photographer or simply love being surrounded by nature, sunrise and sunset are the best times to visit. Depending on the season, the mountains around the lake light up with a beautiful, golden glow, giving the whole place a magical atmosphere.
The lake itself has a very peaceful vibe, making it a great place to unwind or catch that perfect shot.
