This is a Hindu-Gothic gate lodge/bridge in Waterford at the entrance to an estate. Henry Villiers Stuart inherited the estate in the early part of the 18th century, while he and his wife were on holidays, it was thought that they were inspired by John Nash’s Royal Pavilion in Brighton. It fell into disrepair in the 20th century but was re-built by the Irish Georgian Society in the 1960s.
