You cannot come to Cape Town without learning about South Africa's history and the times of Apartheid. The District Six Museum is dedicated to documenting the struggle for freedom against the Apartheid regime and shows the cruelty and discrimination that has been done to the non-white population of South Africa in all detail. It features interactive exhibits, multimedia presentations, and events. You also learn more about District Six itself – an area with an important history.
