🇬🇧 I have never seen anything like this place before but if you do not know about it, you might just drive past. This is where the river Buna merges into the river Neretva, forming a long canal with little waterfalls and a little wetland area with many birds and different plants. Parts of Neretva's river bed is dried up in this area so you can go right down to the canal and admire its beauty from up close.

Unfortunately, many people litter and because this is not an official National Park, Bunski Kanal is not cleaned up regularly. So please do leave the area like you found it and if you can, maybe even take some of the trash that is not yours with you too.

🇩🇪 Wenn man es nicht weiß, fährt man vielleicht einfach vorbei: Hier mündet der Fluss Una in den Fluss Neretva und bildet einen langen Kanal mit kleinen Wasserfällen und einem kleinen Feuchtgebiet mit vielen Vögeln und verschiedenen Pflanzen. Ein Teil des Flussbettes der Neretva ist in diesem Bereich ausgetrocknet, so dass du direkt zum Kanal hinuntergehen und seine Schönheit aus der Nähe bewundern kannst.

Da es sich nicht um einen offiziellen Nationalpark handelt, wird der Bunski-Kanal nicht regelmäßig gereinigt, und viele Menschen hinterlassen Müll. Bitte verlass das Gebiet so, wie du es vorgefunden hast, und nimm vielleicht auch einfach etwas Müll mit - selbst, wenn es nicht deiner ist.
