The Great Soča Gorge is a hidden gem nestled in the stunning Soča River Valley of Slovenia. This is one of the most beautiful spots along the valley, where the rocks form a narrow canyon.

This is a great spot to go swimming. A lot of people cliff-jump from the canyon but after the rocky part, there are many shallow pools that are perfect for kids to swim.

PS: The water of the river is cold all year round! Be ready for it if you want to swim.

It is very easily accessible since it is located right by the side of the road, which can be good and bad. This spot tends to get quite full during the summer so I recommend visiting early in the morning or during the shoulder months.
