Famous, but also infamous.. the view from the top is amazing and the beach is beautfiul, but it's also a very dangerous spot so be careful! You should be safe at the top, but as with anywhere in Bali where there are monkeys, hold onto your valuables and don't rustle anything plastic because the monkeys are little devils and they will cause havoc! 😅

If you want to go down, the path starts off steep but reasonably safe and then gets progressively harder as the steps disappear and railings become sticks and rope - most people are of course fine but there are always a few casualties reported every now and then so please please be careful, wear appropriate footwear, and don't attempt it unless you are capable. They are actually building a lift for this reason.

If you do go down, again the beach is beautiful but the waves and current are very strong and you need to be careful to not get pulled out to sea or pushed against the rocks!
