Hot Spring
Luxury camping with amazing views and a hot spring!
We stayed here on a recent trip to Kintamani and absolutely loved it! It was our first time “glamping” so we didn’t know what to expect but it was basically a hotel room with tent walls. We stayed in the deluxe tent with private bathroom and were lucky enough to have a view of Mount Abang from our tent! 🤩
The bed was big and comfortable with goose feather pillows, there was aircon, a mini fridge and we had our own hot shower and proper toilet and sink area.
The resort also had its own restaurant where you can eat (or you can request to have food delivered to your tent) and its own hot spring, which was amazing at night as it gets quite cold in Kintamani.
The only downside of the whole experience is that Kintamani on the whole has a bit of an issue with flies which can be a bit annoying. Apparently it’s worse during the rainy season (Nov-March) and the flies aren’t there at night, just during daylight hours.
The restaurant provides these things that spin to keep flies off your food but we personally preferred to eat in our tent with the insect net zipped up during the day and went to the restaurant for the evenings.
Pro Tip: accept the earplugs when the staff offer because I think the local cockerel was a bit confused and was cocka-doodle-doo’ing all through the night and tent walls don’t do much to block out the noise 😂😅
