Pererenan has had yet another top tier restaurant enter the scene! This time Japanese inspired food, and it's really really good 🤤 If you didn't know, Bokashi Berawa came first and it's a cafe and teahouse! 🍵 We've been there a number of times before, having even had our Christmas lunch there last year! So we were excited as hell to try their new restaurant, and it didn't disappoint!
It's worth saying firstly that the space is absolutely huge (way bigger than the Berawa one) with so many different sections and amazing decor, and like the other there's also a grocery store (with the same delicious cakes), so it's definitely worth a visit even just to look around 👀
The food though dang.. there's something about the restaurants on this street (Shelter, Arte, Mostly..), they're all so good. We particularly liked the Truffled Tuna Tartare Tart, Wagyu Beef Tartare, and Yaki Onigiri - Phil also felt cheeky and got a dessert (when does he not though?), the Nama Chocolate, and really liked it, of course, it's chocolate..
We've tried some of the desserts in the grocery store before as well and they're really good, definitely recommend!
