Galleria Sciarra is a hidden Art Nouveau courtyard located just steps away from the iconic Trevi Fountain and Via del Corso in Rome, Italy. This beautiful courtyard captures the eye with its stunning frescoes, colorful murals and iron and glass ceiling but what really makes this spot special is the stories it contains. Built in the late 19th century for the wealthy Sciarra family, it was meant to be a shopping mall and each inch of its four-story walls are covered with artwork painted by Giuseppe Cellini celebrating women in varied life stages.
It's opened from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6:30 pm
