This is one of the iconic pass roads that connect the Engadin with the north of Switzerland. It's not only scenic with to take some photos but to really experience it driving up the winding roads. The surrounding peaks and the historic villages are really mesmerizing. The Julier pass lies at a 2284m.a.s.l. and you'll find the iconic Origen Tower - Red wooden sign on top. It was built on the initiative of Giovanni Netzer, who wants to contribute to the development of the mountain region. The region is beautiful to drive through but also especially in summer and autumn a fantastic place to start your hikes. There are many parkings on the side of the road and good indications for trails (for example the Lag Grevasalvas - see my other recommendations)

In winter it is the Mekka for ski touring and literally one of the prettiest regions because there are no noisy lifts around.
